Job summary

AMETEK Power Quality Solutions (PQS) seeks a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead the design and delivery of next-generation power quality and energy management solutions. You will direct software teams, coordinate with cross-functional groups, and guide architectural decisions to meet project budgets and timelines.

The role emphasizes collaboration with sales, customers, and R&D hardware teams, while driving modernization through AWS, React/Node.js, and AI-enabled productivity

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work under minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Direct department activities to design new software product platforms and manage timetables, costs, and budgets.
• Lead software engineers on assigned projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Manage DevOps systems including Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize software/hardware interfaces and system performance.
• Evaluate new technologies and advise leadership on strategic technology choices.
• Ensure software testing aligns with product requirements and quality targets.
