Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Advanced Project Engineer (Finance) to lead a software team, drive program cost, schedule, and technical issue coordination across multiple projects. You will partner with project engineers and managers to prioritize work, manage staffing, and ensure on-time delivery within budgets.

The role requires at least 5 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Science or Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• 2 years experience in project engineering functions.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• ITAR compliance experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation to completion.
• Define scope, objectives, and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Develop plans with timelines, budgets, resources.
• Manage project execution, escalation, and performance.
• Develop schedules and milestones.
• Manage risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate communications between technical leaders.
• Improve team processes and automation.
• Drive SW quotation estimation and approvals.
• Coordinate cross-team solutions and agreements.
• Improve software project engineering practices.
