Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• 8 years of software development experience in embedded/real-time or regulated environments.
• 8 years of hands-on C++ in embedded/real-time systems (e.g., DEOS, RTOS).
• Experience designing software architectures, OO designs, algorithms, data structures, and software lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute engineering tasks to meet technical, quality, schedule, and customer requirements.
• Implement features, identify sub-tasks, and coordinate across software development activities.
• Develop, analyze, and capture software and system requirements for features and subsystems.
• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain software for avionics displays and framework-level functionality.
• Test, debug, integrate, and verify software and systems for compliance with requirements.
• Support generating builds, integration, and release activities.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, quality, certification, and program management teams.
• Support completion of products to achieve certification and customer acceptance.
• Interface with customers to ensure alignment with specifications.
