Job summary
Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Principal Software Engineer (Finance) to guide technical direction, mentor teams, and own critical software solutions. Based at our Phoenix location, you will lead design and delivery of complex software, drive innovation, and influence strategic plans while ensuring high quality and performance across initiatives.
You will work with senior management to shape technical direction, champion efficient development processes, and recruit and develop successors,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
- 15+ years of experience leading software development projects.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages (C, C++, OpenGL, Embedded Systems).
- Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and delivery of complex software projects.
- Conduct regular code reviews to ensure robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with senior management to provide technical input into strategic planning and decision-making.
