Job summary

Peraton in Annapolis, MD is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise applications for national security programs. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver features and ensure system reliability.

Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines, implement infrastructure as code, and contribute to documentation and process improvements while upholding high security and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI with a current polygraph.
• 14 years in programs and contracts of comparable scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree or four years extra software engineering experience substitute for degree.
• Experience with JIRA & GitLab, Agile/Scrum, Terraform, AWS security, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements to inform software design, performance, and feasibility.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications with new features.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve defects to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align software with system architecture.
• Develop data queries and optimize database interactions.
• Contribute to system integration across environments for stability.
• Apply algorithmic thinking to meet performance requirements.
• Support testing by creating and executing test procedures.
