Job summary

B4Corp in Bethesda, MD seeks a Senior Software Engineer with TS/SCI clearance to design, develop and deploy software and cloud solutions in a DevOps framework. You will work with Java, SpringBoot, Hibernate and Python to build mission-critical tools that support our clients in the defense sector.

The role emphasizes agile collaboration with Product Owners and Scrum Masters, SDLC delivery, and hands-on experience across cloud platforms and automation tooling.

Qualifications

• Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph.
• Experienced in Java, Spring, and CI/CD within DevOps.
• Proficient with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and cloud data services.
• Strong experience with agile practices and DevOps tool chains.
• FS/HS diploma with 12+ years or BS with 8+ years or MS with 6+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Participates in software programming with Java, JavaScript, Python, SpringBoot, Hibernate.
• Develops validation and testing methods using JUnit and Katalon; enables automated deployments.
• Develop, prototype and deploy Cloud Solutions leveraging platform services.
• Coordinate with team members, Product Owners and Scrum Masters for User Story alignment.
• Support Agile lifecycle using GitHub, Jenkins, Unix Bash; track with JIRA and Confluence.
• Analyze performance and testing; coordinate infrastructure needs driven by software.
• Apply best practices and SOPs to meet customer technical needs.
