Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Trading based in the United States to design and build a high-performance algorithmic trading platform powering reliable brokerage services.

You will own critical systems across order management, risk management, and trading workflows, developing low-latency services, distributed architectures, and data models while collaborating with a globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• Significant professional software engineering experience, with background in trading or exchange systems (OMS/RMS/EMS).
• Strong programming skills across low- and high-level languages (C/C++, Go, Zig, Rust, Java, Scala, Python).
• Experience optimizing for low latency, high throughput, and efficient resource usage.
• Familiarity with messaging queues/brokers and distributed communication patterns.
• Proven system design skills with emphasis on maintainable, scalable solutions.
• Experience with OMS and RMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a robust, scalable algorithmic trading platform.
• Build and optimize systems supporting trading workflows (OMS and RMS).
• Develop high-throughput, low-latency services with CPU-level optimization and distributed design.
• Contribute across the software stack—from backend to frontend components.
• Architect distributed systems for scalability, availability, and maintainability.
• Design messaging architectures using queues and brokers for reliable communication.
• Make critical technical and architectural decisions balancing performance and growth.
• Collaborate with a globally distributed team of engineers.
• Apply data-driven approaches to identify bottlenecks and optimize infrastructure.
• Take ownership of initiatives from design to deployment and improvement.
