Thoughtful is pioneering a new approach to automation for healthcare providers. We are seeking an exceptional Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Core Platform Engineering team, shaping scalable backend services and responsive frontends.

You will lead end-to-end builds, design for clarity and change, and collaborate with product and design to deliver production-ready solutions. We value pragmatic scalability and a senior mindset that fosters learning and autonomy.

Qualifications

• Experience building complex, interactive UIs with React, Vue, or Angular.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript with clean, maintainable codebase.
• Strong API design skills including versioning, pagination, and error handling.
• Experience with authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, JWT).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Familiarity with AWS and infrastructure concepts (CI/CD, containers).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end builds across the full development lifecycle, from prototyping to production scale.
• Design modular backend services and frontends that are easy to maintain and evolve.
• Drive pragmatic scalability with thoughtful tradeoffs and maintainability.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and stakeholders to deliver real-world solutions.
• Continuously learn and share best practices within a senior engineering team.
