Job summary

The role involves mentoring peers, collaborating across teams, and delivering tested software while supporting diverse programs. Ideal candidates have 8–12 years of Windows/Linux development, strong OO design, and proficiency in C#/.Net, Java, C++, or Web UI, plus Agile process experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 8–12 years of Windows or Linux application software development experience.
• Object oriented design experience required.
• Expertise in C#/.Net, Java, C++, or Web UI.
• Experience writing unit tests and debugging code.
• Familiar with formal/v structured lifecycle development and Agile processes.
• Familiar with SVN and Git, IDEs and debuggers.
• Willing to travel locally (occasional).

Responsibilities

• Works within a defined software life cycle development process.
• Understands requirements and processes.
• Leads software design reviews and creates design docs.
• Implements coding to standards and validates via tests.
• Contributes to process improvements and delivers on schedule.
• Coordinates with multiple teams and mentors less experienced engineers.
• Possibility to lead teams on new assignments.
