Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–12 years of relevant technical experience in Mechanical Engineering, with 5+ years in production rotating electrical machines or electronics packaging for aerospace/industrial applications.
• Experience developing mechanical subsystem requirements per MIL-STD 961D or equivalent.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAE tools: SolidWorks for modeling; ANSYS for structural/fatigue; ANSYS Icepack for thermal analysis.

Responsibilities

• Leads or supports thermal, structural, dynamic, and fluid flow analyses for electronics equipment.
• Leads testing and data collection in lab and field.
• Models mechanical devices and selects materials; performs stress, fatigue, thermal analyses.
