Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 6+ years of backend/platform engineering experience.
• Hands-on expertise with state machine modeling and lifecycle management.
• Experience with transactional state stores and idempotent API/workflow design.
• Understanding of exactly-once or effectively-once processing and distributed failures.
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Go, or Python.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools for productivity and code quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate stateful services for real-time decisioning and personalization platforms.
• Build and maintain state machines governing lifecycle transitions and validations.
• Architect transactional state stores and enable exactly-once processing across operations.
• Implement outbox pattern to ensure atomicity of state updates and events.
• Ensure observability, auditing, and fault-tolerance through tracing and structured logging.
