Amentum is seeking a Software Engineer in the United States to integrate and report data using SPLUNK, developing processing analytics and supporting back-end repositories and dashboards. The team collaborates with customers to define requirements, implement solutions, and ensure performance and reliability of data-driven software.

The role emphasizes extensive Java/JEE, C++, and RESTful development, with experience in Spring and JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, Docker and CI/CD tools.

Qualifications

• Nineteen (19) years of experience required; four additional years if no technical Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems.
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements.
• Resolve software problem reports and fix defects.
• Design, code, and modify software to add new features.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems.
• Develop data queries for databases or data repositories.
• Document software and system designs and procedures.
• Collaborate with system engineers to derive requirements and optimize performance.
