Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect and build the PoP Control-Plane Network Services, the software layer that manages a dynamic mesh of satellite terminals in real time.

You will be a founding member of the PoP infra team, delivering highly available control plane services, architecting distributed systems, and ensuring low-latency connectivity across terrestrial and orbital nodes at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Expert-level in C++, Rust or Go.
• Deep experience with distributed systems and consensus algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Architect the Control Plane with highly available, low-latency services.
• Build stateful distributed services across data centers and orbital nodes.
• Design and optimize databases for telemetry and session management.
