Job summary

Blue Origin in the Greater Seattle area is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect and build the PoP Control-Plane Network Services, the software layer that manages a dynamic mesh of satellite customer terminals in real time.

As a founding member of the PoP infrastructure team, you will ensure low-latency, highly available control-plane services, design scalable distributed systems, and optimize data models across terrestrial data centers and orbital nodes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Expert in C++, Rust, or Go.
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Architect the Control Plane to provide low-latency, highly available services.
• Develop distributed stateful services across data centers and orbital nodes.
• Design high-throughput databases for telemetry data.
