Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a seasoned Ground Network Engineer to design, build, and operate the global ground infrastructure that connects our space fleet to Earth. You will lead architecture, deployment, and security of resilient networks across multiple stations, applying SRE principles with a strong emphasis on automation and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience architecting and deploying scalable network infrastructure.
• Experience with multi-vendor device installation, configuration, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design and document end-to-end network topology for multiple sites and NOC.
• Define WAN/LAN architecture, circuits, switching, and routing.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and out-of-band devices.
• Develop IP addressing plans and VLAN configurations.
• Establish and maintain network security architecture (firewalls, VPNs, ACLs).
• Perform system hardening, vulnerability scanning, and remediation.
