Job summary

CymSTAR, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer II in Tulsa, OK to design, code, implement, and test simulation software for training devices. You will oversee lifecycle tasks from design through documentation, while meeting budget and schedule constraints. A signing bonus up to $5,000 is available.

The role requires 18+ months of simulation industry experience, U.S. citizenship, and ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. Travel up to 25% is expected across the United States and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent with 3+ years in simulation is required.
• Minimum 18 months of simulation industry experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Review specifications with project and systems engineers to identify interface requirements between software and hardware.
• Analyze system requirements and design high-level software approaches that meet project needs.
• Identify and manage technical risks to control costs and schedule.
• Develop detailed software designs from requirements and interfaces.
• Write code in C, Fortran, and/or other languages using Linux OS.
• Perform subsystem, integration, and acceptance testing to ensure quality.
