Job summary

Cisco Isovalent is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy high-performance software agents that work across Linux, Unix, and Windows environments and multiple architectures. You will build capabilities to enforce network policies, monitor container deployments, and analyze complex system interactions with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with 4+ years of software development experience.
• Strong C/C++ systems programming skills and multi-threaded/multi-process development.
• Solid understanding of OS fundamentals: threads, processes, file systems, networking, IPC.
• Experience debugging and troubleshooting complex software systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and improve high-performance software agents.
• Operate across Linux, Unix, and Windows environments and multiple architectures.
• Enhance functionality for enforcing network policies from a central controller.
