Job summary

Prompt.io Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, test, and maintain production web applications, services, and APIs. You will own features from development through deployment, collaborate with Product and Engineering, and contribute to scalable and secure systems.

You will work across front-end and back-end stacks, write clean code, and troubleshoot issues while helping improve development practices in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain production web applications, services, and APIs.
• Own features and technical projects from development through deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product to scope, design, and deliver new features and improvements.
• Develop and maintain services and APIs powering our applications.
• Write clean, reusable, well-tested, maintainable code.
• Work across front-end and back-end systems to deliver complete solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and production problems.
• Contribute to performance, scalability, reliability, and security of applications.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team planning.
