Job summary

EasyPost is hiring a Software Engineer III to design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality features for our shipping platform.

You will contribute to both front-end and back-end components, ensuring performance and security at mass scale. The role emphasizes solving complex engineering challenges, participating in code reviews, and creating documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3-5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Python programming skills with familiarity in other languages.
• Experience with front-end and/or back-end frameworks (React, Django, Node.js, etc.).
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and OO design principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and debug software applications following standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into designs.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.
• Identify and troubleshoot defects; develop efficient solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
