Job summary

FICO is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, implement, and support high‑performance services across Java, C++, Groovy, and Python in a fast‑moving environment. You will contribute to architecture, DevOps, and cross‑functional collaboration with Analytics, Data, and Product teams.

The role requires 5+ years of software development experience and strong coding skills in Java, C, C++, or .NET/C#. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, SQL, and SDLC processes is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related disciplines.
• 5+ years relevant software development and delivery experience.
• Strong coding skills in one or more of Java, C, C++, .Net/C#.
• Experience with devops technologies such as Docker; Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of MVC framework, design patterns, and architectural diagrams.
• Proficient in SQL and database concepts, SQL workbench and queries.
• Experience with version control systems (GIT, Bitbucket).
• Experience with SDLC, Agile, TDD, and test automation is a plus.
• Experience with AWS technologies: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Load Balancers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support high‑performance, low‑latency services across Java, C++, Groovy, and Python.
• Contribute to architecture and DevOps strategy using AWS services and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and design collaboration.
• Collaborate with Analytics, Data, and Product Management to translate requirements into robust solutions.
• Leverage AI coding assistants for scaffolding, testing, and cross‑language ports.
