Job summary

FICO’s myFICO engineering team builds web applications for FICO Scores, leveraging AI/ML to deliver fast, delightful experiences on mobile and web, hosted on AWS with automated monitoring and strong security.

Join us to design, build, and operate secure Java microservices, ship LLM-powered features, and collaborate with product, InfoSec, and platform teams to maintain scalable, high-availability services. Excellence in code and testing is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Experience deploying/operating services on AWS using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs (Anthropic, Bedrock, OpenAI) into Java services.
• Security-focused design including encryption and secure APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate secure, scalable Java microservices powering the myFICO.com platform.
• Ship LLM-powered features (RAG pipelines, agentic workflows) with strong observability and guardrails.
• Review code, drive design discussions, and improve test coverage and architecture.
