Motion Recruitment Partners seeks a Senior Salesforce Engineering Consultant to own architectural direction in a mature Salesforce environment, spanning Service and Sales Cloud. You will mentor developers, guide the team through critical moments, and leverage Einstein/AI capabilities for advanced solutions.

The role is hybrid 2x per week in Lake Forest, IL, offers a high degree of autonomy, and includes a path toward senior technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of implementation experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Hands-on Salesforce Service Cloud and Salesforce development experience.
• Strong data modeling, interface design, and testing practices for Salesforce.
• Experience with API development (SOAP/REST) and modern integration patterns.

Our client, a large enterprise organization, is looking to bring on a Senior Salesforce Engineering Consultant. This role sits at the center of their Salesforce ecosystem, focused on Service and Sales Cloud. This role is hybrid 2x a week in Lake Forest, IL

This is a chance to take real ownership of a mature Salesforce environment, shaping architecture and best practices rather than just executing tickets. Our client is looking for a builder who can move fluidly between hands‑on development and technical leadership, mentoring other developers, guiding the team through high‑pressure moments, and helping set the technical direction. You’ll get exposure to the latest Salesforce Einstein/AI capabilities, meaningful autonomy in how you solve problems, and room to grow into a more senior technical leadership track.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 4+ years of implementation experience spanning the full software development lifecycle
• Background in object‑oriented languages such as Java or C#, plus front‑end web development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
• Hands‑on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and a proven track record of Salesforce development
• Solid understanding of Salesforce data modeling, interface design, and testing best practices
• Familiarity with modern software design and integration patterns, including API development (SOAP, REST, or microservices)
• Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or Kanban development environments
• Understanding of CI/CD principles as applied to Salesforce code check‑in through deployment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate with external vendors and Salesforce partners
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring and coaching other developers

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience integrating Salesforce with AWS
• Familiarity with authentication protocols such as OAuth, OAuth 2.0, and JWT
• Exposure to microservices architecture

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments using SalesforceDX
• Guide the development and support team through critical issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives
