Role Overview
The Salesforce Senior Software Development Engineer will design, develop, and maintain complex Salesforce applications and integrations. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment. The engineer will also contribute to architectural decisions and mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Development
- Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce pages, and Flows.
- Implement complex business logic and automation within Salesforce.
- Customize Salesforce objects, fields, and page layouts as per requirements.
- Integration & Data Management
- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and performance optimization across platforms.
- Quality Assurance & DevOps
- Write unit tests and perform code reviews to ensure high‑quality deliverables.
- Manage deployments using Git, SFDX, and CI/CD tools (Copado, Jenkins).
- Maintain technical documentation and adhere to best practices.
- Other responsibilities
- Work closely with architects, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and share best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 5–8 years in Salesforce development.
- Strong knowledge of Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL, and Flows.
- Experience with Salesforce Clouds: Sales, Service (CPQ and Marketing Cloud are a plus).
- Proficiency in integration patterns and API development.
- Hands‑on experience with Git, SFDX, CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I (Developer II preferred), Admin.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with MuleSoft or other integration platforms.
- Knowledge of advanced CPQ configurations.
- Exposure to large‑scale enterprise implementations.
