Job summary

Entegral is seeking a skilled software engineer to design and develop advanced features within a fast-paced agile environment. You will serve as a subject matter expert across multiple technologies and guide architecture discussions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Architects, CloudOps, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software for a global SaaS platform. Responsibilities include leading design reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring secure, scalable delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of enterprise app development experience.
• 5+ years of application design and development in an enterprise setting.
• 2+ years leading development initiatives or software architecture/design.
• 5+ years experience with backend technologies including Java.
• 5+ years experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
• 2+ years frontend experience with Angular or React.
• 2+ years designing and developing in a microservices environment.
• Experience building cloud-based and cloud-native applications (Azure/AWS/GCP/Kubernetes).
• Experience in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban).

Responsibilities

• Significant individual contributor performing application design and coding.
• Use Java/SpringBoot, Angular, and open source frameworks to implement software per Architects’ specifications.
• Collaborate with CloudOps and other SDEs to analyze and resolve SaaS platform issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and improve engineering processes.
• Develop and maintain automated tests to improve software quality.
• Lead design and code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
