Job summary

Entegral is a teleworking-first organization seeking a senior software engineer to design and develop technology advances in a highly agile, collaborative environment. You will lead and contribute across full-stack development with Java/SpringBoot and Angular, mentor junior engineers, review designs, and drive quality through automated tests and continuous improvement.

You’ll engage with Architects, align with product roadmaps, and participate in on-call rotations, with travel 2–4 times per year

Qualifications

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Willing to travel 2–4 times per year to Madison, WI and St. Louis, MO.
Remote work option with webcam and dedicated workspace.
Located in one of the following U.S. locations: AZ, FL, IL, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, TN, TX, VA, WA, or WI.
Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of enterprise development experience.
5+ years of backend development with Java.
2+ years frontend experience with Angular/React.
2+ years designing and developing in a microservices environment.
Experience with cloud-based development (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Kubernetes).
Experience in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban).

Responsibilities

Significant individual contributor for application design and coding.
Write, translate, refactor, and code software using Java/SpringBoot, Angular, and open source frameworks as specified by Solution Architects.
Collaborate with CloudOps and other engineers to analyze and resolve complex SaaS platform problems.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement.
Develop and maintain automated tests to improve software quality.
Lead design and code reviews.
Mentor less experienced engineers and promote best practices.
Align work with product roadmap initiatives and business operations.
Own full-stack development responsibilities and contribute to architecture decisions.
Ensure security considerations are integrated into daily work.
Support production with on-call rotations as needed.
