Job summary

Public Consulting Group LLC (PCG) is a leading public sector solutions firm. We seek an experienced software engineer to design and implement complex applications, guiding the development lifecycle and promoting best practices.

The role emphasizes collaboration with non-technical stakeholders, creating reports, interfaces, and scalable solutions while deploying across environments. Travel/onsite as needed and a strong background in software engineering are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Engineering or Information Systems preferred.
10 years of relevant experience preferred.
Strong communication and ability to work with non-technical staff.
Understanding of software product development life-cycle and CI.

Responsibilities

Plans, develops, tests, documents and implements software per specs and best practices.
Converts functional specs to technical specs for coding.
Collaborates with End Users to troubleshoot IT questions and generate reports.
Implements complex reports and interfaces; deploys applications in all environments.
Provides knowledge transfer and coaching to junior team members.
