Job summary

Tebra is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement mission-critical payment solutions. You will lead architectural planning, own major platforms, and develop in Java, Spring Boot, and Python while integrating Stripe and TriPOS.

Remote-friendly with options across the United States, you will mentor peers and collaborate with product management to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, plus one year of post-baccalaureate experience in software engineering in finance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze information to determine and provide innovative solutions to complex business problems related to existing systems.
• Own and be SME for large software systems and business initiatives.
• Lead design reviews to determine feasibility within time and cost constraints.
• Write software frameworks extendable by others on the team.
• Translate business requirements into software solutions and lead architecture for major platforms and features, including payment systems on cloud platforms.
