First Citizens Bank seeks a hands-on Software Engineer to lead domain-wide initiatives in Corporate Card delivery, risk underwriting, and portfolio management. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise systems and coach senior developers across multiple SCRUM teams.

The ideal candidate has extensive Java 11+ experience, strong design pattern knowledge, and a proven ability to deliver in large banking environments.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science; 3+ years of experience in software development.
• Experience designing/modifying modern microservice-based systems.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; able to interact with business product owners.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop technical solutions with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Lead multiple tech leads across SCRUM teams with coaching and escalation responsibilities.
• Drive domain-wide changes to improve quality, speed, and throughput; ensure system stability and scalability.
• Oversee maintenance of IaaS/SaaS and on-premise applications within Digital, Cards, Risk, and Merchant Services.
