Qualifications

• Senior software engineer with proven delivery of complex production systems.
• Experience owning major features and architectural decisions.
• Strong backend, APIs, distributed systems, and microservices fundamentals.
• Ability to design for performance, scalability, reliability, maintainability.
• Hands-on with AI coding agents in daily workflows.
• Experience mentoring engineers and setting engineering standards.
• Excellent communication and independent, data-driven collaboration.
• Comfortable remote, distributed work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design, architecture, and implementation of major product features and complex engineering initiatives, ensuring scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Own end-to-end delivery of customer-facing product features, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design, build, and improve backend services, APIs, distributed systems, and architectures.
• Diagnose and resolve complex engineering challenges, identify risks, and improve system performance via monitoring and data analysis.
• Leverage AI coding agents to accelerate development, define specs, and review AI-generated code for correctness and security.
• Establish high engineering standards through code reviews, testing, and documentation.
