Job summary

the company in the United States is seeking a senior Platform Engineer to design, develop, and operate a self-hosted GitHub Actions runner fleet on GKE, while owning ArgoCD topology for CI/CD deployments and maintaining Helm charts across Kubernetes workloads.

You will lead end-to-end platform projects, drive migration from Jenkins, ensure pipeline reliability with Datadog and PagerDuty, and collaborate with distributed teams to deliver scalable developer tooling.

Qualifications

> CI/CD platforms expertise including Jenkins administration, Groovy libs, Docker-based agents, GitHub Actions, reusable workflows and self-hosted runners.
> Secrets management and pipeline troubleshooting in complex environments.
> Strong Kubernetes (GKE) administration with GCP/AWS experience.
> ArgoCD (AppSets, sync strategies) and Helm chart authoring.
> Terraform for GKE and CI/CD resources.
> Observability with Datadog and incident response with PagerDuty.
> Container registries like Artifactory and GCP Artifact Registry.

Responsibilities

> Design, develop and operate the self-hosted Jenkins/GitHub Actions runtimes on GKE with autoscaling and reliability tuning.
> Own ArgoCD topology powering CI/CD deployments including production reliability measures.
> Maintain Helm charts and ApplicationSets for Kubernetes workloads.
> Lead Jenkins platform evolution, plugins, libraries, and secrets integration.
> Build reusable GitHub Actions workflows and templates; drive migration from Jenkins.
> Lead end-to-end platform projects from architecture to maintenance.
> Ensure pipeline observability, incident response, and on-call rotations.
