Job summary

Lumen is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in a work-from-home role within the United States. You will design, develop, test, and debug software across multiple disciplines within an agile team, delivering scalable, production-grade systems.

Strong knowledge of GoLang, Java, cloud platforms, and modern frameworks is essential. You will collaborate with partners to meet requirements, implement automated tests, participate in code reviews, and manage multiple priorities while delivering

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education; 4+ years with a master’s degree.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and coding best practices.
• Experience with Agile practices and sprint ceremonies.
• Experience with GoLang and Java.
• Experience with Temporal Workflow.
• Experience with Oracle RDBMS and PL/SQL.
• Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• REST API Services is a plus.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, Kafka, RESTful services, and JUnit/TestNG.
• Proficiency in one or more cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with AKS, Logic Apps, Service Bus.
• Experience using AI Dev tools to write high-quality code.
• Experience building scalable, high-performance systems for large data.
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
