As a part of the Release Channel team, your mission is to balance continuous release velocity with production stability through automated, multi-tiered rollout channels in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) BigQuery.
In this role, you will serve as a core technical leader driving the long-term goal, strategy, and architecture for BigQuery’s release channel capacity management. You will solve complex distributed systems and capacity fragmentation challenges and partner closely with Workload Management to define and execute a shared, multi-year roadmap that fuels the horizontal growth and expansion of release channels across all components in BigQuery. You will navigate high technical ambiguity and address deep distributed systems challenges, resolving severe capacity constraints and large-scale resource fragmentation to ensure sustainable and high stability growth of channelization.
