Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
• 5 years of experience in the Data Analytics ecosystem (e.g., Iceberg, Spark, Flink, Pandas, Arrow).
• Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
• 10 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture (preferred).
• 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms (preferred).
• 3 years in technical leadership roles; 3 years in matrixed organizations (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement storage components for large-scale data processing for OSS and BigQuery.
• Design and implement tests and experiments to evaluate system performance.
• Use instrumentation to develop, test, and rollout features.
• Coordinate with product engineers, Product Managers and customers to grow the business.

Salary

US: $207000 - $300000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
