Job summary
The RTX Huntsville software team is seeking engineers to join our defense software efforts across Battle Management, C2, and sensor systems. You will contribute to real-time embedded and application software, working within cross-functional teams using agile practices.
A strong background in C++, Java, Ada and embedded systems is required, with a DoD Secret clearance being a typical expectation. We value experience with CI/CD, multi-threading, RTOS like VxWorks/Integrity, and tools such as
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum five years of professional software programming experience.
- Experience with C++, Java, Ada or similar OO languages.
- Embedded/real-time software or large-scale applications experience.
Responsibilities
- Participate in cross-discipline teams, use agile methods to develop and integrate complex software for aerospace/defense.
- Assist in requirements, design, development, testing of real-time embedded and application software.
- Stay current with trends in AI, DevSecOps, and modern languages.
