Job summary

RTX in Huntsville, AL is seeking software engineers to join development teams responsible for Battle Management, Command & Control, Communications, and related systems. Onsite work is required to contribute to world-class software for aerospace and defense applications.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in a STEM field and have experience in C++, C#, or Java. A U.S. Secret clearance is required or the ability to obtain one; the role includes Agile processes and modern DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in STEM fields (CS/Engineering/Physics/Math).
• Software development, integration and/or testing using C++, C#, Java or similar languages.
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills.
• Desire and ability to learn new technologies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Participate in collaborative, cross-discipline product teams; use agile development to create, test, and integrate software for aerospace/defense systems.
• Assist in requirements, design, development and testing of real-time embedded and application software; develop new work products or enhance existing systems.
• Collaborate with Systems and Integration Test Engineers to analyze, implement and test the system.
