Job summary

BlueInGreen is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build responsive UI across web and TV platforms using React and GraphQL. You will collaborate with design and product teams to deliver accessible experiences and maintain robust documentation.

You will also design and test backend services in Java, and integrate various APIs (GraphQL, gRPC, REST). This is a fully remote U.S.-only role with a W2 hourly arrangement and benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must be located in the United States and work from within the United States.
• Eligible to work directly for BlueInGreen in a w2 hourly with benefits role.
• Must be able to use a Mac as the primary working device.

Senior Software Engineer, React / GraphQL

Support entertainment technology, quality operations, and connected player experiences for a confidential enterprise technology client in a BlueInGreen w2 hourly with benefits role.

Schedule: Fully remote, U.S.-only role. Assignment length and any extension or conversion details will be discussed during the hiring process.

What you will do

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to build delightful, performant, and accessible user experiences.
• Develop highly maintainable web and TV client code (both React applications) with effective documentation.
• Write automated tests with React Testing Library and other test frameworks, from unit tests to full end-to-end UI automation, to deliver high-quality code.
• Build, enhance, debug, and test features across entertainment technology, quality operations, and connected player experiences.
• Design, refactor, and maintain backend services, with an emphasis on reliable Java service development and clean API boundaries.
• Integrate in-house and third-party services using appropriate API patterns, including GraphQL, gRPC, REST, or similar technologies.
