Job summary

BlueInGreen is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build responsive UI across web and TV platforms using React and GraphQL. You will collaborate with design and product teams to deliver accessible experiences and maintain robust documentation.

You will also design and test backend services in Java, and integrate various APIs (GraphQL, gRPC, REST). This is a fully remote U.S.-only role with a W2 hourly arrangement and benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must be located in the United States and work from within the United States.
• Eligible to work directly for BlueInGreen in a w2 hourly with benefits role.
• Must be able to use a Mac as the primary working device.
• Direct applicants only; no recruiting agencies or corp-to-corp submissions.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to complete Form I-9.
• Willing to complete a background check as required by law.
• Hourly W2 role with benefits eligibility; assignment length not guaranteed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to build accessible, performant UI.
• Develop maintainable React web and TV client code with proper documentation.
• Write tests with React Testing Library, from unit to end-to-end.
• Build, enhance, debug, and test features across entertainment tech and connected players.
• Design, refactor, and maintain backend services with reliable Java-based APIs.
• Integrate in-house and third-party services using GraphQL, gRPC, REST, or similar APIs.
