Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Analyst - Software Development Engineering to join the Application Production Support team in Indianapolis. You will investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes on enterprise apps using Java, Angular, APIs, and cloud platforms.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, product owners, QA, and stakeholders to improve stability and performance while growing both technical and business domain knowledge in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in software development or production support.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices-based applications.
• Experience developing front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience troubleshooting enterprise apps in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Strong SQL knowledge (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Experience analyzing logs, monitoring dashboards, and alerts to diagnose issues.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, source control, and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of distributed systems, API integrations, and performance troubleshooting.
• Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Implement code fixes and support enterprise applications built on Java, Angular, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with Lead Engineers, Developers, Product Owners, QA, and stakeholders.
• Ensure reliability and performance of systems serving the PBM business.
• Contribute to application support activities, enhancements, and continuous improvement.
