Job summary

Talentify is seeking a mid-level Application Support Engineer to bolster our Global Application Support on-site in Indianapolis, IN. The role emphasizes strong SQL and troubleshooting to independently support production applications and partner with global teams in a regulated pharma environment.

The position focuses on incident response, data analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and data integrity in a highly regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of application or systems support experience.
• Strong SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (pharma/biotech) preferred.
• Familiarity with incident, problem, and change management processes (ITIL or similar).

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 / Tier 3 application support for critical manufacturing and enterprise applications.
• Use SQL to analyze data, investigate issues, validate fixes, and support reporting or data corrections.
• Serve as escalation point for complex issues, coordinating with global teams.
• Support deployments, upgrades, patches, and validation in GxP-regulated environments.
• Partner with users, IT, and engineering to identify recurring issues and improvements.
• Create and maintain support documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
• Ensure compliance with GxP, data integrity, change management, and cybersecurity requirements.
