Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Software Engineer in Product Security to build and deploy security tooling and automation across a global platform. You will help safeguard production environments, implement scalable security applications, and partner with teams to drive security initiatives.

The role emphasizes SDLC ownership, incident response, and cloud-native operations, with remote work options across the USA. A strong background in security automation and data platforms is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Software Engineering role focusing on event-driven systems, data ingestion, and internal automation tools.
• Strong coding skills in Golang and Python; knowledge of frontend stacks (React/Angular/TypeScript) is beneficial.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containers, software signing, and OSS dependencies.
• Experience with data engineering and datastore/queue ops (OpenSearch, Kafka, Postgres, SQS).
• Familiarity with configuration management/orchestration tools (Ansible, Chef, Salt, Puppet).
• Background in Product Security (SaaS) and awareness of cyber threat landscape.

Responsibilities

• Contribute as a technical member on a global Product Security engineering team, building scalable security platforms.
• Design and implement security automation tools for software supply chain security, vulnerability discovery, and multi-cloud visibility.
• Collaborate with Product Security teams to define tooling strategy and perform risk assessments and architecture deep dives.
• Own SRE practices, CI/CD, and datastore operations for critical security services; implement monitoring and incident response processes.
