Job summary

Peregrine Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to join Product Experiences. You will own large portions of the user-facing platform from start to finish, shipping features across Search, Dossier, Charts, Dashboards, Maps and more.

You will work with design and PM to deliver fast, intuitive, and trustworthy experiences that turn vast data into actionable insights for investigators and analysts. You will tackle high-visibility challenges, including semantic search, real-time maps,

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience with cross-functional software development teams.
• Experience shipping production-grade, user-facing software and/or open-source contributions.
• Strong frontend fundamentals (React/TypeScript) and ability to ship full-stack features end-to-end.
• Ability to write robust, well-tested, and well-designed code deployed to users.
• Solid understanding of architecting and scaling distributed software systems.
• Strong best practices in modern software development and navigating large codebases.

Responsibilities

• Own large portions of the user-facing platform from start to finish.
• Ship features with ownership and collaboration across teams.
• Build and iterate on core Peregrine experiences such as Search, Dossier, Dashboards, Maps and more.
• Focus on performance, latency, UX, and resilience in complex workflows.
