Job summary

Peregrine Technologies seeks a Software Engineer to join Product Experiences, owning the user-facing features across Search, Dossier, Charts, Dashboards, Maps, and more. You will work with design and PM to ship fast, intuitive experiences turning data into actionable insights.

Located in San Francisco or Washington, D.C., prospective candidates can work in office 4 days a week within a hybrid setup. Expect a tech stack including React, Python, Django, AWS, and modern data stores with an emphasis

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience with cross-functional software development teams.
Experience shipping production-grade, user-facing software.
Strong frontend fundamentals (React/TypeScript) and full-stack capability.

Responsibilities

Own large portions of the user-facing platform across features like Search, Dossier, Charts, Dashboards, Maps, Network, Table, Workspace, Docs, Automations, and Mobile.
Tackle challenging problems such as building search and semantic discovery over billions of records.
Design Dossier views that assemble a complete picture of an entity on demand.
Deliver real-time, collaborative experiences on maps and networks with focus on latency and resilience.
Collaborate with design and PM to ship fast, intuitive, trustworthy experiences.
