AeroVect is pioneering autonomous ground handling with perception systems. We seek engineers to advance 2D/3D object detection across camera, LiDAR, and radar inputs. You will help build data collection, labeling, and evaluation pipelines and maintain a multi-modal dataset for training and evaluation.
The role involves architecting a deterministic secondary perception system and mentoring junior engineers on best practices. A strong background in perception, Python, C++, and ROS2 is required.

Train, deploy and monitor 2D/3D object detection models (Camera, LiDAR, Radar)
Build and maintain data collection, labeling and evaluation (metrics) pipeline
Maintain proprietary multi-modal dataset for training and evaluation
Architect a deterministic secondary perception system
Mentor junior engineers about best practices
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Deep Learning, or a related field
3+ years of focused experience in perception (sensing, preprocessing, detection, tracking)
Python, C++ and ROS2 proficiency
The ability to work autonomously
PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related discipline
Previous experience working with autonomous robots
Experience developing CUDA kernels
