Job summary

AeroVect is hiring a Perception Engineer to advance autonomous perception for ground handling, delivering 2D/3D object detection across camera, LiDAR, and radar modalities. You will own data collection, labeling, and evaluation pipelines and help maintain the multi-modal dataset used for training and evaluation.

You will architect a deterministic secondary perception system and mentor junior engineers, shaping best practices in a fast-growing, Series A environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Deep Learning, or a related field.
• 3+ years of focused experience in perception (sensing, preprocessing, detection, tracking).
• Proficiency in Python, C++ and ROS2.
• Ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities
