Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain applications in a secure, on-site facility in Redondo Beach, CA. The role requires 100% on-site work and a TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one.

You will work across software and systems, collaborating with hardware engineers to resolve complex technical challenges. Responsibilities include software design, coding, testing, and documentation, plus involvement in compiler/OS development and ensuring

Qualifications

• 12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 10 years with a Master's; 8 years with a PhD. An additional 4 years may substitute for a degree.
• Willing to obtain an SCI clearance as required before start date.
• Strong knowledge of C++ and Java; experience with Python, RHEL, and algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, test, and debug software and systems.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and equipment designers.
• Analyze system capabilities and data flows to meet requirements.
• Prepare operating instructions for developed systems.
• Develop compilers, assemblers, utilities, and operating systems; ensure software standards.
