Job summary

Intrepid Solutions and Services LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to design, prototype, implement, and maintain software solutions that are deployed on a government client’s infrastructure. You should be highly motivated to do awesome work, curious about technology, and enjoy collaborating with a like-minded team.

Please note: This position is contingent upon contract award and requires an Active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility, plus a BS degree in CS/CE or related field.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required; eligibility for TS/SCI.
• 5+ years of experience in writing, maintaining, debugging, and testing code.
• Experience with RESTful web services.
• Strong server-side language experience (Go, NodeJS, Python).
• Experience with frontend JS frameworks (Angular, Vue).
• Experience with version control (Git).
• Experience with Jira or similar issue tracking.
• Ability to communicate technical details clearly.
• Ability to own project segments in a dynamic environment.
• Strong oral and written communication and teamwork.
• Open, team-oriented, eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new capabilities and custom software solutions for government customers.
• Follow best practices to write well-tested, high-performing code.
• Identify and resolve issues in existing code.
• Integrate capabilities with external services and tools.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor team members.
• Communicate status and technical details with customers.
