Job summary

Qualifications

• 14 years of software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline (or 4 extra years of experience).
• Experience with Linux command line, Git, and Atlassian tools (Confluence).
• Recent Java experience and understanding of web APIs.
• Basic container tech knowledge (Docker).

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance needs.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Recommend improvements to documentation and development standards.
• Design and code software updates to add features.
• Integrate existing software into new environments.
• Develop data queries for databases or data repositories.
• Write or review software and system documentation.
• Design or implement complex database interfaces/queries.
• Develop algorithms to meet performance and functional standards.
• Assist with developing and executing test procedures.
• Analyze systems performance and data usage for solutions.
• Design or modify systems using analytical models to predict outcomes.
