Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a software engineer to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role requires a Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance and is on-site. You will contribute to analytics, large-scale systems, and AI/NLP initiatives, shaping how we solve complex national defense problems.

The ideal candidate has 14+ years of software engineering experience and a CS-related degree, with the ability to lead and collaborate across disciplines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Four (4) years of additional software engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements.
• Works individually or as part of a team.
• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to design requirements and documents test results.
• Resolves software problem reports.
• Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
• Provides input to system design including hardware/software trade-offs and use of COTS/GOTS.
