Job summary

Raytheon is seeking software engineers to join cross-functional teams working on aerospace and defense software and embedded systems. You will contribute to real-time software, tools, and system integration in a DoD context.

Qualified candidates have a STEM degree, 5+ years of OO development (C++, Java, C#) and an active U.S. Secret clearance. This onsite role requires collaboration across design, development, and test teams to deliver mission-critical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or Mathematics or a related (STEM) discipline.
• Minimum of five (5) or more years of relevant experience in software development, integration, and/or test using C++, Java, C# or similar object-oriented software language.
• Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Participate in collaborative, cross-discipline integrated product teams, employ agile software development techniques and resources to develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions for aerospace and defense applications.
• Assist and participate in the requirements, design, development and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools, to include development of new work products or enhancement of existing applications and systems.
• Work collaboratively with Systems and Integration Test Engineers to analyze, implement and test system
