United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Onsite Customer Growth team in New York. The role focuses on designing and building backend or full-stack systems to power onsite growth experiences across millions of users, with in-office collaboration Tue-Thu.

You will lead technical design, drive architectural decisions, and partner with product, design, data and AI teams to deliver high-impact customer outcomes, while mentoring peers and improving system

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with backend or full-stack focus.
• Experience designing and operating distributed systems and microservices.
• Proficient in Java or TypeScript and modern tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve scalable backend services and APIs for onsite growth products.
• Lead technical design for new features and platform improvements with reliability and performance in mind.
• Collaborate with product, design, data, and AI teams to deliver data-driven capabilities.
• Mentor engineers and elevate engineering standards through code reviews and architecture decisions.
• Improve system observability, resiliency, and performance at scale.
• Translate business goals into clear technical plans and execute across teams.
